9.15am-10.15am Pilates with Annabel Greenwood
The emphasis of this class is on all over fitness. You will feel stronger, more mobile and flexible and improve balance through these sessions. Like all my classes we work hard but have fun. You get to have some time out, escape the stresses and strains of life for an hour and give your body some tlc. A great way to start the week.

Tuesdays

6.30pm-7.30pm Clubbercise Exercise Group with Annabel Greenwood
A fitness class that feels more like a night out! Fun, easy to follow dance fitness routines using rave glow sticks to club anthems from 90s classics to the latest chart hits. The class is great whatever your fitness level but not suitable for those with any form of photosensitivity due to the disco lights. Minimum age is 16 (13+ if accompanied by an adult). Official Clubbercise glow sticks must be used in classes. These can be purchased with your booking and are reusable – yours to keep! A community crafty group working on various projects including knitting clothing for premature babies. Everyone’s welcome, please come along anytime.

11.00am- 2pm Community Cafe
A cafe set up to build community, a safe place to come and meet many local residents which is fully accessible and for all without discrimination. The cafe is FREE OF CHARGE (donations gratefully received). The cafe serves the very best fresh food prepared by our wonderful team of volunteers. It was especially set-up to serve those who are experiencing loneliness in Holt and the surrounding areas. There is also a very popular Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings and again without charge! For further details contact the Community Centre.

2.00pm – 4pm Monthly Memory Swap
Are you a long-time resident of Holt, perhaps even born and bred here? Or are you new to the town and would enjoy hearing and sharing memories and stories about Holt of the past, and North Norfolk more generally? Then why not come along to the Monthly Memory Swap? John Jarvis shows archive films and photos and other memorabilia on the big screen, along with recorded interviews with local people who are sadly no longer with us but had lots of memories to share and stories to tell about growing up in Holt in the ‘old days’. There is a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit half way through the afternoon. Just turn up for this free event – no booking is necessary.

A monthly writing group with a difference. This is about writing, there and then, to a given stimulus. No homework, just a readback at the end of the session with the chance to take it away and work on it further. In 1915 we set out to give women a voice and to be a force for good in the community. Since then, our membership and our ambitions alike have grown tremendously.
